What are the Performance Features of the 2019 Ford Ranger?

The 2019 Ranger comes fitted with a single powerful engine for all its trim levels - a 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This EcoBoost engine is capable of delivering 270 hp and the best-in-class 310 lb.-ft. of torque when paired with Ford's 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. The estimated fuel economy is also best-in-class at 21 mpg city, and 26 mpg highway for the 4X2's and 24 mpg for the 4X4's. The Ranger also has best-in-class gas payload and towing, a maximum of 1,800-lb. payload and 7,500 lbs. of towing, leaving all other midsize trucks in the dust. Drivers in Cockeysville will be happy to know that the new Ranger also features a double A-arm independent front suspension that allows the Ranger to maneuver and control any road or path that lies ahead.

What Safety Features are available with the Ford Ranger?

Buyers in Randallstown can expect something new with this model - Ford Co-Pilot 360™ driver-assistive technologies. These include features such as the Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, a Lane-Keeping system, Pre-Collision assist, automatic emergency braking, and auto high-beam headlamps. The Co-Pilot 360™ is standard on the XLT and Lariat Trims, and optional on the XL. Other standard safety features include a rearview camera, roll stability control, curve control, and child-proof rear door locks. Ford knows that you expect your vehicle to keep you safe when driving around Reisterstown or maneuvering traffic when merging on 795.

What Technical Features are available with the 2019 Ranger?

The new Ranger also comes with a new infotainment system, in the form of the Sync® 3. It features an 8-inch color touchscreen display that connects wirelessly to your phone, making it easier and safer for drivers near Owings Mills or Pikesville to access. The Sync® 3 AppLink has Amazon Alexa capabilities, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as a pinch-to-zoom navigation feature that, when partnered with the voice-activation feature, make it easy to navigate through areas of Maryland and beyond. All this will be driven through the Ranger's sound system by Bang & Olufsen, which also features an integrated microphone and 675 watts of power through 10 premium speakers.
